Updated Plans Approved for South End Condos
Updated plans have been approved for the redevelopment of 575 Albany Street in the South End. New plans will change the use of portions of the first floor of the building from commercial to residential uses and the total number of homeownership units in the building from approximately 50 to approximately 44. The ground-floor commercial space has been further reduced to approximately 1,100 square feet of commercial space, and the six ground-floor units have been relocated and replaced with one market rate unit and five affordable units for occupancy by artists.
