Updated Plans for Allston Multifamily Reduce Building Height & Parking
The development team behind Allston Green has present updated plans for the multifamily project to the BCDC. New plans call for the reduction in building height for the tallest building from 14 stories to just 7. The total square footage of the three-building project has also been reduced from 317K to around 257K however the number of units is slightly increased from 348 to 350. Parking has also been adjusted from 157 vehicle spaces down to 125 with 20 bike parking spaces added for a total of 368. The Allston development will also include artist/gallery space, along with a fitness center, lounge, and roof deck.
