Updated plans for the Ellicott Mill Redevelopment project
New changes are in place for the former Wilkins-Rogers Mill at 27 Frederick Rd Ellicott City, MD. The retail square footage was reduced to 3,924 SF inside and 1,060 SF on the dining terrace, with the ability to seat 165 patrons. The museum will now be a historic display, making it always accessible. The 945 square foot dedicated space will showcase historical elements and tools, etc. from the property. Another change is the parking needs were reduced, and sufficient parking will be accommodated with the parking areas being shared amongst the users. The former mill closed in 2020 when developers started planning the redevelopment project in 2021. The new development will consist of 190 apartments with retail and restaurant space and plans to be finished by late 2023. Stay tuned for more details.
