Vacant Richmond Office Tower Trades for $19.5M: Hotel/Resi Conversion Planned

Dominion Energy has sold the Eighth & Main office tower in Richmond to Douglas Development for $19.5M. The developer plans to transform the vacant 325,000-square-foot office building into 200 hotel rooms and 290 apartments. The acquisition also included a parking deck at 620 E. Cary St. and a small parking lot at 720 E. Cary.  The site is conveniently located just four blocks from popular walking trails and destinations including the Riverfront Canal Walk, Brown's Island, and Belle Isle.
