Vibalogics to Invest $150M Into Boxborough Industrial Building for COVID-19 Vaccine
German contract development and manufacturing organization Vibalogics plans to invest $150,000,000 in 1414 Massachusetts Avenue in Boxborough to aid in the production of a COVID-19 vaccine.
After landing a contract with Johnson & Johnson, Vibalogics concluded a search throughout the East Coast for a location to build out a staging and research facility. The company announced it will invest $28 million in infrastructure upgrades to the building, which previously housed Cisco Systems' R&D division, and hire up to 250 employees over the span of 4 years.
The building features 292,513 SF of flex space with 6 loading bays, each with ramps, and immediate access to Interstate 495.
