West Village Apartment Building Trades for $80.43M
A 6-story residential building, located at 780 Greenwich Street in Manhattan's West Village, has just been sold for $80.43 million. The Class-C structure was purchased by Stonehenge NYC from the previous owner, Heller Realty, in an arms-length transaction.
Originally constructed in 1950, the building contains rental apartments. It also features a bike storage room and a package room for residents.
780 Greenwich stands feet tall and totals square feet. According to Stonehenge's CEO Ofer Yardeni, "780 Greenwich Street represents a true trophy asset as it is one of the few rental buildings in the Village with more than 75 large apartments." A little fun fact worth mentioning is that the building sits directly beside John Lennon's first NYC home.
