Winn Companies Selected to Redevelop Salem Properties

Winn Companies, the company behind Winn Development, won a bid from the Salem Redevelopment Authority to revitalize three properties within the city.

The project includes the County Commissioners Building at 32 Federal Street, the Superior Court Building at 34 Federal Street, and a surface lot at 252 Bridge Street. Winn proposes constructing a 110-unit, 8-story mixed-use building at 252 Bridge Street, an 11,920 SF "Museum of Justice", bars or cafes within the libraries, and 19 residential units in the courthouse and county commissioner's buildings.

In total, 129 residential units - 57% of them income restricted - will be created along with 13,100 SF of commercial space.
