Wood superstructure framing underway at Avalon NorthPoint Phase Two in Cambridge
Construction of wood superstructure framing is well underway at Avalon NorthPoint Phase Two, a new mixed-use building located across from the Lechmere MBTA Green Line station, and will soon reach its’ full height of six stories. The first section of Avalon NorthPoint Phase Two’s post tensioned concrete podium structure, which will house the building’s ground floor lobby and retail space and is serving as the wood framing’s base, is complete. Underneath Avalon NorthPoint Phase Two are three completed levels of below-grade parking. Upon completion, Avalon NorthPoint Phase Two will feature 285 apartment residences with approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
