MGH Expansion Project Update 07/30/21

Work Begins on $10M MGH Patient Intake Outfit

A building permit valued at $10,701,000 has been pulled to begin work on MGH's patient intake ward. The outfitting will feature five new procedure rooms, a new waiting room, staff work stations, and clinical support areas.

Part of Massachusetts General Hospital's institutional master plan, the hospital's expansion project calls for a 12-story structure for 450 single-bed rooms housed in a pair of connected towers.
