Yorkville Tower Project Half Way to Top Out
Concrete specialist, Glenco Contracting, has shared photos of the rising superstructure at 250 East 83rd Street; a 32-story residential tower, going up in Manhattan's Yorkville neighborhood.
At this time, the building's superstructure is around half its final height, with 16 stories now constructed. The project site also sports a recently installed tower crane, which has already seen plenty of use lifting heavy concrete hoppers up to the crews on the roof.
Developed by , 250 East 83rd Street is set to contain rental apartments. Plans also call for of ground-floor retail space.
Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a rooftop pool and lounge, a children's playroom, and a theatre room.
Designed by , and constructed by , 250 East 83rd Street will stand feet tall and total square feet upon completion. Valley Bank has provided $145 million in funding for the project and construction is expected to take until May of 2025.
The project site sits directly across the street from 300 East 83rd Street, where Lalezarian Properties is in the early stages of constructing a 22-story condo tower of similar, albeit smaller stature.
