Zoning Approved for LaSalle Street Reimagined Adaptive Reuse at 79 W. Monroe

Zoning has been approved for a $64 million adaptive reuse of The Rector Building, a  historic office building in the Loop that dates back to the early 1900's. Plans include converting floors 7 through 13 into 117 residential units with a host of amenities, including a dog run, fitness center and a rooftop deck. Plans also include exterior facade and preservation work. The project is part of Chicago's LaSalle Street Reimagined, an office to residential initiative for empty office buildings along LaSalle.
