Zoning Progress for Jamaica Mixed-Use Tower
An application for the One Archer Avenue development in Jamaica, Queens has been approved by the Community Board and is now being reviewed by the Borough President. The application was submitted by Archer 1 LLC, and it seeks a zoning text amendment in order to facilitate a curb cut and permitted loading berth. This is part of an otherwise as-of-right project that is being developed by Shorewood Real Estate Group. The 24-story, mixed-use apartment building was designed by Hill West Architects. It will hold 315 residential units, as well as ground-floor retail space. If all goes to plan and the project is approved, construction is expected to take until 2023.
