Zoning Update for Rego Park Mixed-Use Development
There's light at the end of the tunnel for a proposed project at 98-81 Queens Boulevard in Rego Park, Queens. The City Planning Commission (CPC) has now voted on Trylon LLC's application, which seeks zoning map and text amendments to facilitate a new 15-story mixed-use building. The square-foot development by RJ Capital Holdings would contain residential units, and square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The CPC will now send the application to the City Council, and once in possession, the City Council will have 50 days to hold a hearing and conduct its own vote. After that, the application will be sent to the NYC Mayor's Office, where the project will either receive the green light or be vetoed altogether.
