Upcoming $3 million, 23,984-square-foot commercial and residential development located across from the Savin Hill MBTA Red Line station. 

The development will feature a three-story, 10,574-square-foot commercial building fronting onto Savin Hill Avenue, and a three-story with mezzanine residential building fronting onto Sydney Street featuring nine market-rate condominium residences and 13 parking spaces. 

Residences will include 1 one-bedroom, 770-square-foot adaptable unit, 6 two-bedroom units averaging 1,146 square feet and 2 three-bedroom units averaging 1,816 square feet. 

Parking in the residential building will be located in an at-grade garage within the building.


The commercial building’s first floor will contain 3,555 square feet of commercial/retail/restaurant space; this space could contain a neighborhood market which could include fresh food, a delicatessen, and beer & wine. The second and third floors of the commercial building will contain 3,646 square feet and 2,555 square feet, respectively, of commercial/retail/restaurant space intended for a single tenant. Upper floor tenants could include a restaurant, a cafe, a spa or office space. Two parking spaces will be located at the rear of the commercial building, in addition to a loading area. The development will be located at the corner of Savin Hill Avenue and Sydney Street, replacing a vacant single-story commercial building, a three-decker home and a single-family home.
