David Adjaye, the famous British architect knighted by the Queen, leading his team Adjaye Associates and in partnership with Hill West Architects and developer Lightstone Group, is designing a 66-story, 800-foot tall skyscraper with 244 condos in Manhattan’s Financial District, located at 130 William Street. Adjaye is on record for saying the 130 Williams Street tower was inspired by the historic masonry architecture of the Financial District. The amenities include a private IMAX movie theater; a fitness center with exercise equipment, yoga room, a spa and a private rooftop observatory deck. Sales are expected to launching in 2019 with Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. Construction is slated for completion by 2020.
