The proposed mixed-use project at 135 Dudley Street is now under review. Plans call for a 2 building development to feature 160 housing units, 15,512 square feet of street-level commercial space, a restaurant flexible space, tenant amenities, art space, and a parking garage for approximately 270 vehicles. Office space on the ground floor will be provided rent-free for 10 years for the Boston Chapter of the NAACP.
The larger of the two buildings consists of a mix of one hundred and five one, two- and three-bedroom condominium units. The second building houses fifty-five rental units. The public face of the building facing Dudley Street will include commercial storefronts to bolster the Dudley Square commercial district. Two residential lobbies are prominently located – one in the center of the frontage, and one at the public park (east) end of the site with direct access to the public sidewalks. A multistory garage will be located at the rear of the site.

Cruz Development has filed an LOI for a two-building, mixed-use project at 135 Dudley Street in Roxbury. The project would include 150 housing units, a mix of affordable and market-rate housing options, both apartments and condos. On the ground floor of the buildings would be over 10,000 square feet of commercial space, including an office space that the developer will lease, rent-free, to the Boston Chapter of the NAACP for 10 years. A parking garage for approximately 245 vehicles will also be included in the plans.
