Mixed-use development project approved for construction in Mission Hill. 1470 Tremont Street is developed by Savage Properties, who is also developing 1486 Tremont Street next door and 1467 Tremont Street across Tremont Street.
 
1470 Tremont Street will contain 33 apartments with a 1,200 square foot high-ceilinged ground-floor retail space. The preliminary apartment breakdown is as follows:
  • 4 four-bedroom duplexes
  • 3 two-bedroom units
  • 14 one-bedroom units
  • 12 studios
The project will preserve and incorporate the facades of six existing puddingstone houses. A new five-story building will be built to the rear of the existing structures.
The project will include a street-level parking garage with 10 spaces and covered parking for 33 bicycles.
 
1470 Tremont Street is located steps to Roxbury Crossing Station on the MBTA Orange Line. Frequent bus service and Brigham Circle Station on the MBTA Green Line are also located nearby.
