At last night's board meeting, the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) approved 151 Liverpool Street for construction. Located in East Boston steps to Maverick Square and Boston Harbor, 151 Liverpool Street will be a new six-story building containing 36 residential condominiums. New developer acquires East Boston project site, files Notice of Project Change
A new developer, City Point Development of Newton, has acquired the 151 Liverpool Street project site on the East Boston Waterfront. City Point Development has submitted a Notice of Project Change (NPC) to the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) with new proposal for the project.
Per the NPC, the new proposal calls for demolishing the existing building, previously proposed for preservation, and constructing a new six-story residential building with an underground parking structure. The new building would contain 36 residential condominiums with amenities including a rooftop running/walking track and 36 parking spaces. The approved residential development site at 151 Liverpool Street has been listed for sale. Developer Cedarwood Development received approval from the Boston Redevelopment Authority in April 2015 to construct a three-story addition to the existing two-story building on site.
