The 14-story, 910,000 square foot office building at 245 Summer Street has been traded for $728,500,000. Horizon Real Estate Investors LLC, an affiliate of Fidelity Investments, has purchased the property from Benderson Development Company. Following the sale, HREI will lease the property to Fidelity Real Estate Company, LLC, and Fidelity will continue to operate the property. Turner Construction has pulled a permit valued at $5.34M for renovations to the Fidelity offices at 245 Summer Street. The work will take place on floors, 5, 6, 8, & 9 of the 14 story class A office tower. The project includes minor HVAC work, reworking of the convenience power, plus new flooring, and paint.
