Long-vacant West Broadway theater sold to developer for $5 million
Yesterday (September 1st, 2016), Quincy, MA-based real estate developer Brian Crowley acquired the long-vacant Broadway Theater in South Boston, commonly referred to as the "Bug House," for $5 million as recorded in the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. The 30,336 square foot theater building stands on an 11,140 square foot parcel, 420 West Broadway, located at West Broadway and F Street steps to Perkins Square. The property was last sold in October 2015 for $3.7 million and in March 2009 for $722,022.
