In 2018, Leggat McCall Properties acquired a 107-acre parcel from Kraft Heinz Co. LMP is currently in the planning and permitting stages to create a 1M+ square foot mixed-use development. LMP plans to demolish 400,000 square feet of existing buildings and develop Class A office, lab, GMP manufacturing, retail, residential, and a boutique hotel.
The residential component envisions up to 300 units of apartments and townhouses as well as senior housing. The commercial component envisions a unique opportunity for build-to-suit office, lab, GMP, and research and development space within minutes of Boston with the flexibility to customize and connect buildings to accommodate 150,000 – 800,000 square feet.
In April 2020, Pulte Homes submitted plans for The Highland at Vale, a townhome and multifamily project to include 197 condo units. Of the 197 total units, 75 will be townhome dwellings contained in two and three-unit buildings and 122 will be multi-family “garden-style” units contained in two buildings each of 36 units and one 50-unit building. 30 of the 197 units, 15% will be designated affordable.
In May 2020, an application was submitted for a senior living facility on the site, The Delaney at the Vale, by LCS. The project would include 223 units total, 103 independent living units, 84 assisted living, and 36 memory care.
