BLDUP Spotlight: Brite Visual - Products that Define Your Space 01/06/25
In this BLDUP Spotlight, we spoke with Scott Newman, President & CEO of Brite Visual. His firm specializes in supplying construction specialty needs from breaking ground to ribbon cutting. With connections among the top CSI Division vendors across the country, they can supply a wide range of projects with high-quality materials. With 25 years of construction experience, Brite Visual has become a trusted leader in the industry, known for our unwavering commitment to quality and exceptional client satisfaction.
BLDUP: Give us a background on Brite Visual, what services/products you offer, types of projects, and locations served.
Scott Newman: Brite Visual specializes in those products that define the unique space an end user sees and uses every day. This includes the window shades in their office space as well as the motorized shades in a conference area. It includes the washroom partitions and accessories, as well as the mirrors and hand dryers. It includes dressing room curtains in a retail store, and crash rails in a medical or lab space. Fireplaces, bicycle racks and bollards. Most everything you see that finishes a space we supply and install.
Our projects run the gamut from Higher-Ed and K12, to retail, medical and life science, tenant improvement, and ground-up new school construction. Every project is unique in size and scope. No project is too large or too small.
The core group of our clients are Springfield east, all the way down to the Cape and Islands, as well as southern New Hampshire and all of Rhode Island. That said we have clients in New York City and in Central Florida that we service regularly.
BLDUP: Why do project teams choose Brite Visual for their construction specialty products?
Scott Newman: There are three principles that I believe are the drivers behind building good client relationships. The first is communication. Respond to your client’s requests in a timely manner. Recognize that they also have a job to do, and that solid communication is the key to success. The second is knowledge. Know your products and be a resource for your client. The third is integrity.
BLDUP: What is the importance of these specialty products, that often may come as an afterthought on some projects?
Scott Newman: I would say that it’s less about the product itself and more about our ability to respond to the request in a timely manner. Details matter and keeping track of all the last-minute details and requests are just as important as good project management on the front end. It’s what you do in the final seconds that matters most.
BLDUP: What current or upcoming projects is your team most excited about?
Scott Newman: 2025! I’m always excited about a new year. New projects, new products, new opportunities. Building on current relationships and just seeing what the new year holds.
BLDUP: Are there any new products/innovations you have recently added or have an eye on?
Scott Newman: We recently added illuminated egress markings, slip-resistant stair treads and safety signage to our portfolio.
