Lacebark Alley

1250 First St NE, NoMa, Washington D.C.

JBG Smith and Brandywine Realty Trust is developing Lacebark Alley, a one-of-a-kind retail opportunity in DC’s thriving NoMa market.

Comprised of 53,000 SF of gallery space, restaurants, and retail anchored by the arts-focused Landmark Theatres, this curated retail mix will offer the area’s 44,000 office workers and rapidly growing residential population a place all their own. Two buildings accompany the project. The first building, 50 Patterson, is a one-of-a-kind creative loft office building in the heart of NoMa. With an innately textured, industrial style composed of brick, limestone, and steel, the building was designed by David M. Schwarz Architects. Inside, 50 Patterson is home to wide open floor plates, lofty ceilings, and oversize gridded windows. The second building is a trophy-class office building distinguished by a seamless integration of state-of-the-art features and a distinctly artful approach, 1250 First is a modern day masterpiece. Designed by Shalom Baranes Associates, its iconic exterior is glass and terracotta, a nod to Lacebark Alley’s rich, artisan aesthetic.
