About Anacostia Crossing -- 11th Street Bridge Park
11th Street Bridge, Anacostia, Washington DC 20020
Plans for the project include an amphitheater, boat launch, community farm, and classrooms to teach students about river systems. The park will be the length of three football fields, and will connect the two sides of the river that were previously disparate from one another.
Construction should start in the first half of 2023 with the park opening in 2025.
