Upcoming air rights development that will be constructed above the existing Back Bay Station and the adjacent parking garage.

The development will consist of approximately 1.37 million square feet, including approximately 582,500 square feet of office space, approximately 61,800 square feet of retail space and approximately 600 residential units. The following buildings will be built across the project site:

  • Station East: 35-story, 400,000+ square foot residential building along Clarendon Street containing 360 residential units and 5,100 square feet of ground and second-floor retail space

  • Station West: 1-story vertical expansion of Back Bay Station's Dartmouth Street entrance to create 33,000 square feet of additional retail

  • Garage East: 28-story, 224,000+ square foot residential building along Clarendon Street containing 240 residential units

  • Garage West: 26-story, 600,000+ square foot building at the corner of Dartmouth and Stuart Streets containing over 580,000 square feet of office space, 23,700 square feet of ground-floor retail, reconstruction of approximately 207,700 square feet of the existing garage and a new Stuart Street entrance to Back Bay Station.

A new 11,000 square foot public plaza will be constructed along Clarendon Street, serving as a grand gateway to Back Bay Station. Pelli Clarke Pelli is the architect of Garage East, Station East, and Garage West. Arrowstreet is the architect of Station West.
