About 380 Stuart Street

Back Bay, Boston, MA

Longtime Boston-based life insurance company John Hancock won approval to build a landmark tower in Boston's Back Bay in November 2015.  The $350 million, 26-story tower would contain 625,000 square feet of office and retail space. An underground parking garage was to be built with 175 spaces. Architects for John Hancock's tower were CBT Architects and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Skanska purchased the parcel/planned development in December 2020 for $177M and updated plans were approved in March 2022.
