About Allston Yards

60 Everett Street, Allston, Boston, MA

Multi-phased, 1.23-million-square-foot redevelopment of the 11-acre Stop & Shop supermarket property in Allston. A total of four buildings are approved, ranging from 14 to 20 stories and 200 to 235 feet in height, featuring up to 868 apartment and condominium residences, 352,000 square feet of Class-A office/research space, 50,000 square feet of restaurant/retail space, a new 67,000-square-foot flagship, state-of-the-art Stop & Shop supermarket and up to 1,300 parking spaces. The project would also include 10,000 square feet of community and or art uses located at 60 Everett St.

Phase One of Allston Yards will be located at the intersection of Everett Street and Guest Street, which would be extended as part of the proposed development, next to the newly opened Boston Landing commuter rail station. Phase One, Alder at Allston Yards, will construct a building featuring up to 176 apartment residences, a 1-acre community green with a restaurant, ground-floor retail, 410 structured parking spaces, and the new flagship Stop & Shop. The existing Allston Stop & Shop supermarket will remain open throughout the construction of Phase One, ensuring that Stop & Shop’s service to the Allston-Brighton community is uninterrupted.

Subsequent phases of Allston Yards would construct up to 650 additional residential units, additional retail and restaurant space, and 300,000 square feet of office space, and would be constructed, and potentially redesigned, based on market conditions and other factors. Green roof areas would be located across all buildings. The Allston Yards site is located convenient to the Massachusetts Turnpike, minutes from Downtown Boston.
