Upcoming 4-story, 80,000 square foot office building to be built on the former Ryan Family Amusements site at 11 Charles Street. Cantella & Co. will occupy the top floor of the building which will also include 5,000 square feet of retail space on the lower level. The building will be constructed using mass timber construction, making it the first timber office building in the Northeast United States. In addition to its lower carbon footprint, heavy timber construction features wide column spacing, exposed wood structural elements and generous ceiling heights throughout the building.
