Over 150 student housing units and hallways at Boston College are being upgraded by South Coast Improvement. Upgrading entranceways, renovation of bathrooms, renovation of kitchens, new lighting, alarm systems, ceiling, and flooring in dormitories is expected to cost between $50,000-$300,000.
Boston College is one of the Boston areas iconic universities in the Boston area. Dormitories have a residential learning model, with a strong focus on community engagement and encouraging students to connect their academic interests to activities outside the classroom. The dormitories are committed to the Jesuit ideal of educating the whole person. Residential life communities put strong emphasis on creating a living and learning community that fosters personal development and leadership.
South Coast Improvement was hired for a multitude of projects ranging from upgrading entrance ways for the Student Resident Halls to complete renovations of 150 damaged rooms and hallways.
Due to the continued use of these areas year-round, time frame to complete the renovations is tight while creating as little disturbance as possible.

Installation of fiberglass panels in residence bathrooms to mitigate moisture damage

Eliminated existing front entrance and enhanced the front of the building in a college residence. Created a new front entrance with a newly designed vestibule and mudroom
