About 33 New York Ave
Framingham, Massachusetts
33 New York Ave is a 10-acre parcel that contains a single, one-story building, which formerly housed the Metro West's Daily News editorial staff, sales team, and a printing press. The facility has been vacant since December 2017, when the newspaper relocated to a new office at 1 Speen St. in Framingham.
King Street Properties sold the property to 33 NYA Owner, LLC - an affiliate of Oxford Properties Group, for the sum of $151,000,000.
Before selling, King Street had planned to renovate the building and expand it with a 9,000-square-foot addition, bringing the total square footage to roughly 107,350, according to information provided to the Conservation Commission. The company also planned to add 49 parking spaces, bringing the total number to 320.
