10-Story Commercial Project Slated for Vacant Elmhurst Lot

A 10-story, commercial mixed-use project, is coming to Elmhurst, Queens, where it will fill a vacant, wedge-shaped lot at 90-32 Queens Boulevard.

To be known as "Queen's Flatiron", the triple-tiered structure has been designed by  and is partially inspired by the iconic, Flatiron Building, in Manhattan.

Developed by , it will contain square feet of retail, square feet of Class-A office space, and approximately 9,300 square feet of medical office/community facility space.

Plans also call for a landscaped roof terrace, 2-loading dock doors, and an enclosed, multi-story, parking garage, spanning the entire 2nd and 3rd floors and part of the cellar. The garage areas will have a combined capacity for up to 288 vehicles. Altogether, Queen's Flatiron will stand feet tall and total square feet.

The project site measures square feet, and is sandwiched by Queens Boulevard and Hoffman Drive. Leasing and marketing for the new development will be handled by Schuckman Realty. It's not yet clear when construction will break ground, but we expect to see permit filings soon.
