15 new apartments proposed in Brighton
A vacant multi-family apartment building located at 81 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton would be replaced with a four-story building containing 15 apartment residences per a new proposal. The building would contain 12 two-bedroom and 3 three-bedroom residences, along with a 17-space ground-level parking garage and on-site bicycle storage. Two residences would be designated affordable.
The proposed building is located minutes from the Massachusetts Turnpike and the 15.2-acre Boston Landing mixed-use development. The project’s developer, 81 Chestnut Hill Avenue Development LLC, has filed plans for the proposed building with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA), commencing the project’s official review process.
