17-Story Hotel Trades for $49.5M in Manhattan

A 17-story building, located at 130 West 46th Street in Manhattan's Times Square - Theatre District, has just been sold for $49.5 million. The structure was purchased by The Chartres Lodging Group from the previous owner, Barings, in an arms-length transaction.

Originally constructed in 1912, the building contains a boutique, luxury hotel, known as "The Muse New York". The hotel features 200 guest rooms.

In addition to guest rooms, the building has 5,000 square feet of commercial space. This portion includes a contemporary-style restaurant, known as "Muse Bar".

130 West 46th Street stands feet tall and totals square feet. Barings is parting ways with the property after almost 16 years of ownership, having acquired it back in December of 2006.
