18-Story Apartment Building in St. Petersburg Gains Approval

The St. Petersburg Development Review Commission unanimously approved plans submitted by LeCesse Development Corporation for an 18-story tower that would offer 279 apartment units in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District just outside of downtown. The plan was previously reviewed by the St. Petersburg City Council, acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency, on November 30th. The council found that the project is consistent with the Intown West Redevelopment Plan. The five-story base will contain 383 parking spaces. The residential lobby and residential lobby will be located on the first floor. Amenities on the sixth floor will include an outdoor pool deck. The studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment units will range in size from 550 to 1,200 square feet. The 1.02-acre site was acquired in August 2023.
