28-Story Rolex Headquarters to Rise in Midtown
World-famous watchmaker, Rolex, is currently in the process of redeveloping its main headquarters at 665 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. The company recently demolished its old, 12-story building, which had occupied the project site since the 1970s and is now replacing it with a luxurious, 28-story tower.
Developed in-house under the name , the tower will feature a square foot, flagship store, spanning the 1st through 4th floors.
Above the store, floors 5 through 25 will contain square feet of office space. Finally, floors 27 and 28 will consist of a private dining and event space, as well as an outdoor terrace. The building is being sustainably engineered and is expected to achieve LEED Platinum certification, which is the highest LEED rating possible.
Designed by David Chipperfield Architects, with Adamson Associates listed as the architect of record, 665 Fifth Avenue will stand feet tall and total square feet. General contractor, , recently started excavating the project site, and work is estimated to finish by December of 2025.
