35-Story Midtown Office Building Trades for $160M
A 35-story, Class-A commercial tower, located at 1370 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan's Midtown East section, has just been sold for $160 million.
The structure was purchased by Barings, from the previous owner, Principal Real Estate Investors, in a deal brokered by Newmark Group.
Originally constructed in 1971 and later renovated in 2002, the 358,615-square-foot building primarily contains office space, with a couple of retail units located on the ground floor.
