470 Unit Multifamily Project Proposed on 7+ Acre Alexandria Site
Lennar is under contract to purchase approximately 7.30 acres of land located on the south side of Richmond Highway between Shields Avenue and Quander Road and has submitted plans for a 470 unit multifamily project. The development would include a multifamily building with 385 units and a host of amenities including a pool, fitness center, and co-working space. The multi-family building transitions from Richmond Highway to 23 four-story stacked townhomes, each with two units, then to 39 traditional townhomes that are proximate to existing residential development to the south. Plans also call for a linear park, a central park, a pocket park, and a mews.
