$55M Ground Lease Obtained for SoHo Office Building
Chelsfield and RAM Holdings have negotiated a 99-year ground lease for a commercial high-rise at 580 Broadway in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood. In a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap, the lease will see $55 million go to the building's owner, Broad Prince Realty Corp.
Originally built in the 19th century, the 12-story structure has 13 commercial units. It contains square feet of office space, and an additional square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The building stands feet tall and totals square feet altogether. Broad Prince has maintained constant ownership of 580 Broadway since January of 1984.
