600+ Units Approved for Americana Hotel Site
The Arlington Planning Commission has approved plans for the redevelopment of the Americana Hotel Site. The site consists of two parcels totaling 1.41 acres of land along Richmond Highway. Plans call for a new podium and tower, mixed-use building with ground-floor retail. The proposed nineteen-story building rises to a height of 200 feet and provides a total of 639 residential units to accommodate the growing housing demand in Crystal City. The building includes work-from-home, fitness, and other amenity spaces, as well as outdoor access to balconies and two rooftop terraces with unobstructed views of the surrounding landmarks.
