8-Story Mixed-Use Development Approved in St. George

An 8-story, mixed-use development, set for 40 Bay Street in Staten Island's St. George neighborhood has just been approved by the NYC Planning Board. Developed by , the building will contain residential units and square feet of commercial space. This would consist of retail space, located on the ground floor and basement levels. Plans also call for an enclosed parking garage in the basement with enough room for vehicles. Designed by PC, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.

The project site encompasses two neighboring lots that are both owned by the developer. Two single-story commercial buildings (one on each lot) would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
