83 apartments and condominiums proposed in Allston’s Union Square
The Mount Vernon Company proposes to construct two buildings at 37 North Beacon Street in Allston’s Union Square containing a total of 83 residences. At the intersection of North Beacon and Everett Streets would be a five-story building featuring 74 apartment residences, and next door on Sinclair Road would be a four-story building featuring nine condominium residences. An art gallery would be located at street level, and resident amenities would include a rooftop terrace and a fitness center. A total of 42 parking spaces would be located on site, in addition to storage for 83 bicycles. The proponent has filed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) formally proposing the project and will reveal additional details in the coming months.
