9-Story Mixed-Use Approved in Bed-Stuy

The NYC Mayor's Office has just approved a 9-story, mixed-use project, set for 6 Howard Avenue in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. This comes about a year after Merrick Capital Corp submitted an application requesting a FRESH certification to facilitate 7,000 square feet of commercial space within the structure.

Developed by , the building will contain rental apartments, spread across 36,612 square feet. The aforementioned commercial space will come in the form of ground-floor retail.

Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. The project site is currently a vacant lot, which has been leveled and unoccupied for well over a decade.
