Affordable Housing Lottery Kicks Off for 595 Dean Street

NYC Housing Connect has started an affordable housing lottery encompassing 240 units within a new, dual-tower residential development, located at 595 Dean Street in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights neighborhood. Eligible applicants must earn between $78,515 and $187,330 annually, or sit at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI). Applications will be accepted either online or by mail until July 3, 2023.

The 23 and 28-story towers have come as part of the 15-building, 22-acre, Pacific Park masterplan development.

Developed and built in-house by TF Cornerstone, the buildings contain  apartments in total, which are available in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations.

Tenant amenities are to include roof decks with BBQ stations, an outdoor swimming pool, a children's playroom, a cardio room, a clubroom, a game room, a co-working lounge, a dog grooming facility, and a bicycle storage area. The towers will also feature new Chelsea Piers Fitness and Field House locations, offering a health club, a fitness center, a pool for swimming lessons, sports facilities, classrooms, and youth center activities.

In addition to residential units and amenities, the towers offer square feet of ground-floor retail space, 72,600 square feet of open public park space (designed by MNLA), and a shared, underground parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by , 595 Dean Street stands feet tall and totals square feet altogether. TFCornerstone is also handling marketing and leasing duties, and the development is now open for move-in.
