Another Office Development Changes Course: 1100 S. Capitol St. SE To Become Residential
Plans are under review for a new multifamily building for DC's Naval Yard.
The nearly 300,000 sq. ft. H-shaped building will have 248 units spread across 11 floors.
The plans show a central courtyard with two "garden" spaces, one on the ground level, and one on the third level.
Amenities for the building include bicycle parking, a fitness area, a rooftop pool, and clubhouse space.
The project will have 162 below-grade parking spaces, a loading dock, and 96 long-term bicycle spaces.
The project was slated to be a 320,000 sq. ft. office building named SC1100 (below,) however, those plans seem to have been superseded, following the trend of prospective office developments switching to residential.
