BioMed to Build $40M Performing Arts Theatre in Cambridge
BioMed Realty has announced a partnership with Global Arts Live to create a "585 Arts", a 300-seat performing arts theatre at 585 Third Street. Plans call for an auditorium and 30,000 SF indoor/outdoor public space with BioMed Realty committing $40,000,000 to build out the theatre space and Global Arts Live adopting a $15,000,000 operating budget. The theatre will host 100 performances a year and begin operation in 2025.
