Fenway brokerage acquires Edward Everett Square mixed-use building for $1.24 million
On August 25, 2016, Fenway-based brokerage and property manager Boston Brokerage Group acquired 692 Columbia Road, a 5,116 square foot mixed-use building located in Dorchester's Edward Everett Square on a 3,605 square foot lot, for $1,24 million as recorded in the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. Boston Brokerage Group's acquisition amounts to $242 per square foot; Digital Federal Credit Union provided a mortgage of $992,000 for the acquisition. Two new buildings containing 40 residential rental apartments and approximately 1,500 square feet of ground-floor retail are currently proposed for construction at 1258-1272 Massachusetts Avenue in Edward Everett Square steps from 692 Columbia Road.
