52 units for formerly homeless individuals proposed in Dorchester
Last Monday (August 29th, 2016), developers Thomas Broderick and Timothy Russell filed a Project Notification Form (PNF) with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) to construct 123 Hamilton Street, a new three-story residential building in Dorchester located just off of Bowdoin Street between Geneva Avenue and Hancock Street; the following is a link to the PNF. The building would contain 52 studio rental units that would be master leased to the Pine Street Inn, who in turn would lease 100% of units to chronically or formerly homeless individuals 55 years of age or older. Construction of 123 Hamilton Street could commence in the first quarter of 2017, with expected completion in the first quarter of 2018.
