3033 Avenue V Update 04/25/24

Borough President Reviewing 3033 Avenue V Proposal

Brooklyn's Borough President is now reviewing an application, proposing a 9-story, mixed-use development, at 3033 Avenue V in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay neighborhood. Submitted by Ford Coyle Properties, Inc., the application requests a zoning map amendment and a text amendment, which will be necessary in order to facilitate the project. The application is currently navigating the public review process and has already been reviewed by the Community Board. It will also be subject to evaluation by the City Planning Commission (CPC), the City Council, and the NYC Mayor's Office.

The proposed building would contain apartments, with 27 units dedicated to affordable housing.

Plans also call for square feet of retail space, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet altogether.

The project site spans square feet and is bound by Ford Street to the west, Coyle Street to the east, and Avenue V to the south. The lot is currently occupied by a single-story, commercial building, containing several retail shops. If the proposal is approved, the old building will have to be demolished. Presumably, some of the existing businesses would also be given the option to relocate into the new development.
