CEO of Douglas Elliman Steps Down
Dottie Herman is stepping down from her position as Chief Executive Officer at Douglas Elliman, one of New York's largest real estate brokerages. She has headed the company since 2003 and will be taking a vice-chair role. In her new, position, she will have the opportunity to mentor the brokerage's 7,000 agents. Taking Herman's place will be Scott Durkin. Scott has been Douglas Elliman's president and chief operating officer up until now. When asked for a comment on the matter, Herman stated that "Elliman is in excellent and very capable hands".
