Clinton Hill Mixed-Use Reaches Final Height
A mixed-use development at 540 Waverly Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn has now reached its final height of 9-stories. The Daten Group has been working since 2019 to develop the property into a residential building with 135 units, and roughly 30% affordable housing. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects, the 117,000 sqft structure will also contain a 56-car parking garage and 6,000 sqft of ground-floor retail.
General Contractor, Press Builders Inc, has been constructing the building since September of last year. While the building has topped out, a peek inside reveals that the project is still very much a work in progress.
Nevertheless, the wait will be worth it because location is everything with 540 Waverly Avenue. The building sits blocks away from Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center, giving residents easy, walkable access to an extensive transportation network, big-league entertainment, and numerous local shopping centers. It is currently scheduled to complete in the fall of 2022.
